not many djs get their start as child-prodigy opera singers. or drop gorgeous live vocals while mixing the grooves. or succeed at busting through the male-dominated club scene. then again, not many djs are dj colette. this incredibly talented songstress-turned-dj, started vocal lessons at the age of nine, but by high school she became a fixture in chicago house clubs. house icons like roy davis jr. and dj sneak soon discovered colette's vocal talents, but when sneak sold her a pair of old decks, she turned the tables and the local chi-town house scene up-side-down. one of our absolute favorite dj's and featured artists on the radio shows, this live mix is sure to get those booty's shakin'!
