fred everything's career as a dj began around 1993 when he opened for sasha at the metropolis club night in montreal where he moved in 1996 to begin his career as a producer. fred everything began releasing records under various record labels, including the now infamous 20:20 vision, which included his widely successful album "Under the Sun" in 2000.

fred's popularity in europe grew throughout the late 90's and was propelled further when he began doing intensive production work with legendary deep house artists atJazz, nigel hayes and the very sexy and talented bettina cosantza, better known in the music world as the founder of flipside records and under the production moniker bougie soliterre.

aside from his production work, fred had begun writing articles on house music for the san francisco-based music journal XLR8R and also went on to win two awards at the mimi gala, which voted him "best dj in montreal" and "best electronic artist".
